At Alameda Hills, we pursue cultivating ever deepening relationships with the Lord Jesus Christ. Our goal is to provide learning opportunities that promote an atmosphere of spiritual transformation and growth.
We will continue to expand on our selection of Bible studies, Sunday school classes, and small group gatherings that are both spiritually profitable and doctrinally sound.
We continually seek to depend upon the Holy Spirit sent from heaven and the living and abiding word of God, to inspire and lead us in all things profitable for learning, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness so that we may be adequate and equipped for every good work, from childhood to full maturity.
Even though we cannot all pursue a seminary or Bible college education, we should all be challenged by the words of Paul to Timothy to “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth.” (2 Tim. 2:15). We should also be challenged by the shining example of the brethren of Berea recorded in Acts 17:11, “Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily, to see whether these things were so.”
As we continue to grow in the knowledge and understanding of God's Word, our lives are transformed and our ministries grow in their fruitfulness. Christ Himself declared in John 15:4, “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in Me.”
Each group seeks to provide opportunities for solid teaching, deepening relationships, prayer, encouragement of one another, and fostering spiritual maturity.

We have adult classes on Sunday morning as well as various programs during the week. There are also fellowship and Bible study opportunities. |

Prayer
Trusting God and consistently dwelling in rich relationship with him is the aim of our fellowship. Relationship does not exist without frequent communication. Corporate prayer allows us to deepen our relationships with each other and with God. Therefore, times for prayer are frequent and evolving. Spontaneous gatherings for prayer are encouraged. We use this time to launch out and explore the depths of prayer. We share with each other and our Lord, prayers of adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication for our church body, our ministries, the community, the nation, and the world beyond. |
